It was a very busy time at end July and early August for Tiddley Bee Honey Co.!
We completed our first independent harvest and processing here in Port Colborne after being hosted at Niagara College in 2019. The college still helped out with an equipment loan after COVID-19 delayed the shipment of the new extractor we ordered in April.
The harvest was very successful with a higher output than we had expected. It was followed by us assisting AG Inspired Cuisine of Niagara Falls as they harvested their honey at their amazing restaurant facilities in the Sterling Hotel.
We have been very excited to be offering our honey at Fehrhaven Farm market on Highway 3 / Main Street just east of Port Colborne. Paul and Amy Fehrman’s farm is already hosting several of our hives and it is an honour to add our honey to the other fresh local products they offer. We’ve even been able to set up a booth at the farm for a couple of days this month and hope to continue until the market closes up for the season.
If you can’t get out to the market just contact us and we can arrange for a curb-side pickup or local delivery in Port Colborne and surrounding areas.
