Thanks to our wonderful honey customers and beehive hosts for our successful 2023 season. Mother nature didn’t take it easy on us or the bees, but they still came through with some great tasting honey.
It was great to experience the amazing support from our community as we redeveloped the business. We participated in several markets including the Seaside Community centre market, Bridgewater Christmas market, and Brooklyn Recreation centre Christmas market. We also supported MJ Dominey Fine Art with honey and bee products at her studio (33 Brooklyn Shore Road). Our hope is that we can get back out among the community in summer 2024 once we have harvested our next crop- and of course it will be available from our “headquarters” in Brooklyn as well.
We feel very fortunate to have been offered space on three area properties to place our hives. Having the bees spread among a few locations has definite advantages, and we would like to carry on that experience by soliciting space on other local properties that can accommodate larger numbers of hives as we expand this summer.
So if you have a woodlot, Christmas tree farm, or acreage in South Queens county that could support 8-15 bee hives we would love to hear from you.
