With the unpredictable weather we have had this summer, several important wildflowers have failed to bloom at their normal time. This has caused a bit of a “dearth” for our bees.
I’m hoping that honey will still be produced in quantifies adequate for me to harvest some – but it isn’t ready yet.
It is possible that we will have a honey shortage for this fall. I can feed the bees to keep them healthy but it may mean I can’t supply honey until spring.
I will try to keep people updated as autumn continues
